DENVER - The parent company of Frontier Airlines says it has entered into a deal to sell the Denver-based airline, according to a report by the Denver Business Journal. Indianapolis-based Republic Airways Holdings Inc. hopes to complete the sale by the end of September. The company's CEO mentioned the deal during a quarterly earnings call Friday, the Journal wrote, but declined to name the buyer or elaborate on details. The low-cost airline was put up for sale in November 2011. Republic bought Frontier out of bankruptcy protection in 2009 with a bid of $108.8 million, beating out Southwest Airlines Source - www.thedenverchannel.com/money/business-news/report-parent-company-finds-buyer-for-frontier-airlines
