Ukraine International Airlines has taken delivery of its first of four CFM56-7BE-powered Boeing 737-900s, which are configured with 20 business- and 159 economy-class seats. The carrier expects to receive its fourth -900 by the end of the year.
“The new Boeing 737-900 arrival is a landmark event for Ukraine International. Due to intensive route network expansion and significant increase in the number of daily operated flights, the issue of fleet renewal and expansion is currently particularly pointed for us,” president Yuri Miroshnikov said in a statement.
