I noticed people complaining about aircraft with missing info on their VR. That is because the VR's database is populated with very old data (last update somewhere in 2011..) In this thread I will explain a few ways to update this database.
First, you will need to have a BaseStation.sqb file (you probably already downloaded it from www.sbs-resources.com/download/index.html)
Extract the files, and you will have a folder called C:\SBS-resources\Files\Registration\BaseStation.sqb . Remember this path, because you will need it later
Now, there are a few options to update this file.
Furthermore, there is a lot to add when talking about silhouette logos and operator flags -- I'll add more on that later!

Now, there are a few options to update this file.
- Download SBSPopulate. This is the easiest way of setting it up, but requires a LOT of work, because this programme requires manual updates for every aircraft. DOWNLOAD LINK: sbspopulate.software.informer.com/download/. For setup instructions, see below. (will be added later)
- Download Active Display (£$€ ), or Active Display Lite. AD should work quite well, AD Lite doesn't work instantly, and requires some additional software and work from you. I wouln't recommend this, as the following option is much faster.
- Download link AD: gatwickaviationsociety.org.uk/AD_home.asp
- Download link AD Lite: gatwickaviationsociety.org.uk/ADL_home.asp
- Tutorial to set-up AD Lite with VRS: forum.virtualradarserver.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=343&start=40 (I haven't tried this, so don't ask me how it works! )
- Maybe even the best option: Download Planebase. planebase.biz/ Follow the instructions to download the software. After that, download PBLink via the Downloads menu in Planebase. More info here: planebase.biz/pblink and a manual for PBLink can be found here: planebase.biz/pblink2.pdf
