I like the F-35, shame the Dutch ones will not have s/vtol capabilities like the UK ones...used to love watching the Harriers perform. There might be a version like that coming around 2019-2020 for the navy. The Navy is currently working on 2 new helicopter type carriers (Much similar to the 'Rotterdam' and 'De Witt'). The first ship called "Karel Doorman" is already in the water and being finished. The second is at the moment no longer mentioned, but trust me there is a second in line for this class called "Zuiderkruis". Likely this second one is put on hold for now. I seen a picture suggesting that F-35 jets could land on the deck of this new ship class. Meaning it could be a reasonable thing that the Dutch navy will buy a few, even if it's for testing only. There is so much going around about this aircraft that it is hard to seperate fact from fiction. These pilots claimed that a lot of the problems have been solved. The reason of the Dutch F-35's being already in the Netherlands, is basically to help out with the testing. A general bug hunt so to say. Further then that information, I really think we should wait and see. Each aircraft has start up issues, I wouldn't espect other wise from this aircraft.

sure understand but I was referring to the VSTOL version B rather than the CTOL you have on order.
