15/04/15 10 Tankers new "Tanker 910" N612AX made her first flight yesterday since conversion at OSC. Conversion was finished last week and she took to the sky for the first time. She will head back to Albuquerque this week for Forest service checks.. she will be ready for the fire fighting season  |

Sea Air to start MD-80 Ops  Croatian start-up airline Sea Air will launch operations from its base in Osijek on May 18. The carrier will operate daily flights to Vienna, Munich and Frankfurt with tickets already on sale. Sea Air will wet-lease an MD-82 from Romanian charter carrier Ten Airways. The jet has the capacity to seat 160 passengers in an all-economy class layout. Since the Osijek-based airline does not hold its own Air Operators Certificate (AOC), it will utilise the one from Ten Airways instead. Ten’s AOC was revoked by Romanian authorities in January but was restored only a month later. It specialises in ACMI and charter operations. The MD-82 that will operate on behalf of Sea Air is 33 years old. Western Global / Nordic Global Airlines As of 07/06/15 Nordic Global Airlines ceased to exist. The last revenue flight was NGB2605 from Nairobi to Stansted flown by OH-LGD. After Stansted the LGD was ferried to OSCODA-WURTSMITH AIRPORT Via Bangor. Western Global Airlines will take over the Liege -> Africa routes that Nordic did. Currently there are 2 Western MD-11's based there. N543JN and N545JN All of the Nordic fleet will be transferred to Western Global. Info I have Ex OH-NGA = N542JN (Currently at MIA) Ex OH-NGB = N546JN (Currently at KOSC for Modifications) Ex OH-LGC = N512JN (Currently at KOSC for Modifications) Ex OH-LGD = N513SN (On its way to KOSC for Modifications) OH-LGD and OH-LGC are former Finnair Pax jets.
